A freshman at Barden university, Becca with a "bad attitude" joins The female a cappella singing group- only not so much of a trend anymore. With their slow harmonies and text-book tunes, the Barden Bella's have been swiped of their pedestal. None-the-less the requirements clearly spell "prim and proper, southern 60s wife' This does not seem like the place for Becca - but never doubt the power of persuasion or fate-in a more corny light, and eventually she yields.
Enter along a bunch of the most heterogeneous girls you can find- you have your stereo-types, but most don't fit the mold.
Looks like their up in for a challenge.
As the skim past the curve-balls, and try to live through the drama and escape claws, somewhere along their enigmatic musical journey, the most unlikely pair start to learn something more about them selves, their hearts, and friendship. Turns out never to null, does friendship sail a smooth sea of lullabies and bird-tweets -but more often a tumultuous, storm-cloud of cymbals and inextinguishable orchestra of symphonies.

Well, now to matters more important.
The scene where in Becca makes her grand awkward entrance- 'fashionably' late in the movie, She preforms whats come to be known as "The cup-song", which turned out to be a major trend.
Heres something which not quite as many people know..
DRUM ROLL PLEASE...
The cup-song showcased in the movie is not entirely original. Yeah, you read right.
The cup-song was first choreographed by these two:
And the song it self is by: Lulu and the Lampshades
Well...thats it really. I just thought that due credit was to be given where it was deserved.
Regardless, Pitch perfect is pretty up to key.
(I'd say 'Sorry for the multiple use of pun" but I though it was rather clever :p)
